That's the only way I can describe my plenum color. I was trying to think of something to do that was different. I like polished plenums, but where I live, the summers are humid and rainy, and I didn't feel like tackling the maintenance. And since Orange County Chopper's powdercoaters are just down the road from me, I thought I would leave it to them. I originally thought to try and match the Sapphire Blue color of my car, but then thought to do something a little more different. I wanted to do a copper color, which is the same color OCC used on one of their upcoming bikes (Statue of Liberty bike - you heard it here first, LOL!) But the color was too light in contrast to the valve covers, balance tube etc. that I already had done chrome. Anyhow, it's a bit darker than I first wanted, but in the sunlight (NOT evident in these pics), it's much brighter and copper-like. I'll get more pics once I get the car together. Anyhow, the pics:
